Dr. Mohammed Al-Maitami, Yemen’s Ambassador to China, participated in the 8th China-Eurasia Expo held in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Region in northwest China.
The opening session of the expo, attended by a number of dignitaries and representatives from over 40 countries, saw speakers emphasizing the importance of cooperation and investment in the fields of energy, promoting development, creating investment opportunities, and establishing collaborative projects between China and various countries.
Ambassador Al-Maitami’s participation in the Expo comes within the framework of arrangements to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Embassy, representing the Yemeni government, and the leading Chinese energy and equipment company, BTES.
