His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen, Mohammed Hamad Al Zaabi.
During the meeting, the Emirati ambassador conveyed to His Excellency the President the greetings of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and his wishes for good health to him and for security, stability, and peace for the Yemeni people.
For his part, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council entrusted Ambassador Al Zaabi with conveying his greetings and the greetings of the Council members to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and his wishes for continued health and happiness, and for the brotherly Emirati people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting touched upon the bilateral relations between the two countries and brotherly peoples, and the promising agreements to enhance them in various fields.
The meeting also touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni situation and the joint efforts to coordinate positions on current challenges at all levels.
