Ghazi Lahmar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Fisheries for Fish Production and Marketing, met in Aden on Tuesday with Abigail Nyukari, FAO Technical Advisor for the Food Security and Agriculture Cluster in Yemen, and Shady Jamal, Food Security Cluster Coordinator in Aden. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the field of food security, increasing agricultural productivity, improving access to food, and promoting sustainable development.
Both parties agreed to continue collaboration in exchanging data and information related to food security. They also agreed to coordinate joint efforts to implement agricultural and fisheries programs and projects with various international and local partners, while working with international partners to enhance food security in Yemen.
