The Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Al-Bakri, met with the French Ambassador to Yemen, Catherine Corm-Kamon, on Wednesday, in the Saudi capital Riyadh to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation between the two sides in the youth and sports sector.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Bakri reviewed the nature of Yemen’s participation in the Olympic Games, which will commence today, Thursday, in the French capital, Paris. He emphasized France’s supportive stance towards the legitimate government and the Yemeni people in all areas, as well as its support for UN efforts to achieve peace in Yemen.
For her part, the ambassador expressed her readiness to cooperate in the youth and sports sectors, reiterating her country’s commitment to supporting the peace process in Yemen.
