His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met today, along with Council member Sheikh Othman Mujli, with the Security Committee in Hadhramaut Governorate, in the presence of Governor Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, Chairman of the Security Committee in the Governorate.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the President requested to observe a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs of the armed forces and security, all military and security formations, the popular resistance, all those who paid their lives for freedom and the republican system, and those who died at the hands of the Houthi terrorist machine supported by the Iranian regime, and the terrorist organizations collaborating with it.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf and his fellow Council members, expressed great pride and appreciation for the affiliates of the armed forces and security in Hadhramaut Governorate. His Excellency hailed their decisive role in enhancing the security and stability of the governorate, protecting national gains and public tranquility, and attracting the vital capital and investments that Hadhramaut needs in all fields.
His Excellency the President also renewed his praise and gratitude for the stances of the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, who provided all support to help Yemen and its people, its constitutional legitimacy, and the continued cohesion of state institutions and their fulfillment of their inevitable obligations.
In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and the member of the Council listened to a briefing by the Governor of Hadhramaut and the military and security leaders on the situation in the governorate: the approved plans to develop the performance of law enforcement agencies, and the required support to enhance the security and military successes achieved at various levels.
