Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak affirmed the government’s commitment to treating the wounded and caring for the families of martyrs, considering it a national, moral, and dutiful responsibility towards them. He emphasized it as a tribute to their sacrifices, which will not be in vain and will remain a source of pride for all Yemenis.
This came during the Prime Minister’s meeting on Thursday in the temporary capital, Aden, with representatives of the wounded and families of martyrs from Taiz. The meeting was attended by Taiz Governor Nabil Shamssan and Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi. The Prime Minister was briefed on their conditions and the existing problems related to treatment, care, and promotions. He directed several urgent measures to resolve some of these issues.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak also directed the Chairman of the General Authority for Lands, Surveying and Urban Planning to allocate a land plan for the families of martyrs in Taiz as a first stage. He stressed the government’s keenness to review the allocations for the wounded and families of martyrs in the liberated governorates and to ensure that support reaches the beneficiaries through transparent mechanisms.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the state and the government will not abandon their wounded and will not forget the families of their martyrs who sacrificed their lives defending the homeland against the Houthi coup project. He described the Houthi movement as a sectarian and racist project that has inflicted destruction, corruption, killing, and displacement upon the country.
