The political media covered several important events, including the U.S. Treasury Department imposing sanctions on four companies and two individuals it claimed are part of Ansarallah weapons procurement networks in Hong Kong and Yemen. The UN Security Council’s sanctions committee has decided to remove the names of the late Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his son, Ahmed, from the list of international sanctions. As for the humanitarian aspect, it witnessed widespread coverage due to the worsening humanitarian crisis, as a UN report revealed that over 75,000 people have been displaced in Yemen due to escalating conflict and harsh weather conditions since the beginning of 2024. Yemeni Prime Minister, internationally recognized government, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak announced that 50% of the country’s children suffer from chronic malnutrition.
