The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajash, met on Monday with the Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Cuba to Yemen, Vladimir Kisada, to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them.
Dr. Bajash praised the historical and distinguished relations between Yemen and Cuba, appreciating the distinguished bilateral cooperation in various fields.
For his part, the Cuban Ambassador expressed his country’s commitment to supporting Yemen, stressing the strength of Cuban-Yemeni relations and the continuation of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the educational field. He also reiterated Cuba’s support for the efforts made to achieve comprehensive peace in Yemen, pointing to his country’s supportive stance towards the Presidential Leadership Council and the unity, security, and stability of Yemen.
