Ambassador of Yemen to Jordan Dr. Jalal Faqirah has been acquainted with electoral experience in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the laws governing political life, which laid the foundation for the existence of political parties within the upcoming House of Representatives and the formation of parliamentary governments with a partisan majority.
This came during his meeting Tuesday with the Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Engineer Musa Al-Maaytah, who reviewed with him the prospects for joint cooperation in the field of electoral operations, the historical fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and the latest developments and preparations for holding the House of Representatives elections in Jordan next month.
Al-Maaytah touched on achieving the vision of the Jordanian state politically through empowering women and youth and enhancing their participation in political life in general and political parties in particular, while reviewing the latest developments in candidacy and relative lists for parties and rules of electoral propaganda.
The ambassador expressed his admiration for the electoral experience in brotherly Jordan and the stages of the democratic process development, which was based on key pillars, the most important of which are gradualism and consensus among the political components.
He expressed his admiration for the level reached by the Commission in managing the electoral process, and its ranking sixth globally in the field of information security.
