The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, received on Monday in the temporary capital Aden, the credentials of Mr. George Montani, as Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation to Yemen.
During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs reviewed the latest developments in the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the aspects of support required from international organizations to contribute to alleviating the humanitarian crisis, especially in the health sector. He praised the role played by the ICRC in the field of humanitarian work in Yemen, stressing the government’s support for the ICRC’s efforts to carry out its humanitarian tasks and interventions in various governorates.
For his part, the Head of the ICRC Delegation affirmed the organization’s commitment to strengthen efforts to contribute to addressing the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
