The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, received on Tuesday in the interim capital, Aden, a copy of the credentials of the non-resident ambassador, Qais Al-Ameri, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the brotherly Republic of Iraq to Yemen.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Iraqi ambassador, wishing him success in his duties, and affirming the provision of all facilities to advance cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples to broader horizons in various fields.

For his part, the Iraqi ambassador reiterated his country’s government’s supportive stance towards the Yemeni government, expressing his aspiration to exert all efforts to develop relations between the two brotherly countries.
