The Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for General Affairs, Ambassador Jamal Awad, met on Monday in the interim capital Aden with the Non-resident Ambassador of Indonesia to Yemen, Muhammad Johan.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, especially in the economic, commercial, and cultural fields, and mechanisms to enhance and develop them in various fields.

Ambassador Awad touched on the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council to achieve peace in light of the intransigence of the Houthi terrorist militia and its rejection of peace efforts, and the continuation of its repeated terrorist attacks in the Red Sea.

For his part, the Indonesian ambassador affirmed his country’s supportive stance for the legitimate government and efforts to achieve peace in Yemen, noting Indonesia’s aspiration to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
