The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, and the Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vitaly Naumkin, agreed to coordinate cooperation between the Center and Yemeni research centers, recognizing its importance in the exchange of knowledge and expertise and enhancing relations between academic institutions in the two friendly countries.
This came during his visit on Wednesday to the Institute in the Russian capital, Moscow, and his meeting with the Institute’s director and several researchers.
Minister Al-Zindani was briefed on the role played by the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, which was established 200 years ago, in strengthening Arab-Russian relations, including those with Yemen.
