His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate, Dr. Shaya’ Mohsen Al-Zindani, met with members of the Yemeni diplomatic mission and technical attachés in the Russian capital, Moscow. His Excellency the Minister praised the role played by the embassy in enhancing bilateral relations and serving Yemeni citizens in the host country despite the difficult circumstances and challenges our country is going through, emphasizing the necessity of performing their assigned tasks to the fullest.
Additionally, His Excellency the Minister met with representatives of the Yemeni community in Russia, listening to the issues and problems they face. He assured that the ministry will pay greater attention to the Yemeni community in Russia, considering it a qualitative community, and will work to alleviate any difficulties they encounter. He also reminded community representatives of their duty to represent their country appropriately, to educate community members about respecting the laws and regulations, to raise awareness among them to avoid illegal migration and its risks, and to work with the embassy in a spirit of responsibility and teamwork to address any issues or problems the community members might face. The meetings were attended by Yemen’s Ambassador in Moscow, Ahmed Al-Wahishi.
