His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, along with council members Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Majali, visited the command of the 35th Armored Brigade.

They were welcomed at the brigade’s headquarters by the Deputy Governor of Taiz for Al-Hujariyah Affairs, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Sanwi, the Director General of Al-Mawasit District, Amin Sharaf, the Brigade’s Chief of Staff Colonel Mahmoud Al-Qudsi, the Operations Chief Colonel Adel Al-Hammadi, the Human Resources Officer Colonel Ali Al-Naqeeb, and several brigade officers.

The President of the Leadership Council and the members listened to a briefing from the brigade’s command on the implementation levels of assigned combat, training, and morale tasks.

His Excellency praised the role of the 35th Armored Brigade in deterring the threats from the terrorist Houthi militias and maintaining state authority in its operational theater, which has shown unique resilience in the fateful battle against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

His Excellency the President noted the generous support provided by the Coalition Countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to all state institutions, especially the armed forces and security. This support comes as part of those countries honorable position in support of Yemeni people, their political leadership, their security and stability.

Later, the motorcade of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Council members stopped at the birthplace of martyr Brigadier General Adnan Al-Hamadi, former commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, in Bani Hamad village, al-Mawasit District. The president and the two PLC’s members recited Al-Fatiha for the soul of the great martyr, prayed for his pure soul, and for all the country’s martyrs who sacrificed their lives cheaply in defense of legitimacy, the republican system, and in fighting against the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council and his fellow council members expressed their great pride in the heroic epics drawn by the courageous leader, martyr Adnan Al-Hamadi, in the battle to restore state institutions and defend the republican system. The martyr is regarded as the one who fired the first shot in fighting against the terrorist Houthi militias. In addition, he formed the initial nucleus of the national army, ignited the brave resistance in Taiz Governorate, and led the liberation against the dark, regressive, sacerdotal Houthi project.

His Excellency the President praised the long track record of struggle that martyr Brigadier General Adnan Al-Hamadi had. Furthermore, the president praised the martyr’s significant contributions to serving the country as one of its most courageous prominent military leaders and immortal symbol who led the Yemeni people’s fateful battle against the Iranian-backed coup militias.
