News monitoring for international media was carried out during the period (7 September – 13 September). The monitoring covered 48 media outlets and 97 news articles, as shown in Table (1).

The international media covered the Yemeni issue in a large way this week, with great emphasis on the political and humanitarian aspects, and the military aspect in particular. The number of articles that were monitored in the international media reached 97 news articles. Where the political side received 23 news articles, 24%. The humanitarian side received 13 news articles, 13%. The military side was covered with 47 articles, a rate of 48%. Then the rest of the frames come as shown in the table below.

The Arab media covered the Yemeni issue extensively this week. The number of articles that were monitored during this week reached 140 news articles. Where the political side received 17 articles, at a rate of 12%. The humanitarian framework received 37 articles, or 26%. As for the military framework, it received 45 articles, or 32%. The local media covered the events on the Yemeni arena, and 207 articles were monitored in various aspects during the period (7 September – 13 September), the political side monitored 52 articles, with a percentage of 25%. As for the military side, it received less media attention than the political side. 61 articles were monitored on the military side with a percentage of 29%. Media Analysis

International, Arab, and local media covered the Yemeni file in all its political, humanitarian, military, economic, etc. aspects. The political media covered Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, in the internationally recognized government, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani chaired the 162nd session of the Arab League Council at the foreign ministers’ level. As for the humanitarian aspect, it witnessed widespread coverage due to the worsening humanitarian crisis, as the Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons Camps in Marib Governorate issued a report monitoring the registration of more than 11,000 cases of malnutrition among displaced children in the governorate since the beginning of this year. The military aspect also witnessed broader media coverage than in previous weeks, as the military media covered, The Yemeni Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announced the downing of an American unmanned aerial vehicle of the type “MQ-9” while it was conducting “hostile activities” in the airspace of Marib Governorate in central Yemen. The group announced a few days later that its forces had shot down another American drone of the same type while it was carrying out “hostile activities” in the airspace of Saada Governorate, northern Yemen.
