The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, discussed on Thursday with the non-resident Australian Ambassador to Yemen, Mark Lawrence Donovan, a number of issues related to bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop it, as well as coordinating the positions of the two countries regarding issues of common concern in international forums. The meeting also touched upon the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the contributions that Australia can make in this regard.

His Excellency, the Minister, affirmed our country’s keenness to develop relations between the two countries, especially in the economic field.

For his part, the Australian Ambassador affirmed his country’s support for Yemen and its government, and for the efforts made to achieve peace and the return of security and stability in Yemen, expressing his country’s intention to provide more humanitarian and relief support.
