Dr. Mansour Bajash, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, met on Thursday with Mr. Chao Zheng, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy to Yemen.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them, as well as coordinate positions on issues of common interest.
Deputy Minister Bajash praised China’s steadfast position towards Yemen and its legitimate leadership, and its support for efforts aimed at achieving peace. He also expressed appreciation for the assistance and contributions provided by the Chinese government in various development and service sectors.
For his part, the Chinese Chargé d’Affaires affirmed his country’s support for the Yemeni government and for everything that guarantees Yemen’s security and stability and achieves the aspirations of the Yemeni people. He also expressed support for the United Nations’ efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution that ends the Yemeni crisis.
