On Thursday, the Republic of Yemen participated in the third session of the Education Ministers Conference at the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), held in Muscat, Oman. The delegation was headed by the Minister of Education, Tareq Al-Akbari.

During the session, Minister Al-Akbari discussed the impact of political, economic, and health crises on educational systems in various countries and the importance of adopting strategies that contribute to adapting to rapid changes. He reviewed the educational situation in our country, highlighting the severe damages to the infrastructure caused by the coup of the Houthi terrorist militia, which has led to an educational crisis considered the worst in contemporary Yemeni history, resulting in school closures and depriving millions of children of their right to education.
