The Acting Permanent Representative of Yemen to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Ali Mousa, discussed on Tuesday with the Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council at the Arab League, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Ni, ways to enhance joint cooperation, and the preparation for the upcoming 118th session of the Council at the ministerial level, scheduled to be held in December 2024.
Dr. Mousa praised the efforts of the Arab Economic Unity, the full utilization of Arab economic resources, and the strengthening of joint Arab action, considering it a specialized technical tool in the field of the Arab League’s work.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council appreciated the efforts of the Republic of Yemen and its continuous support for the Council, pushing its work forward and overcoming difficulties and obstacles. He confirmed the Council’s readiness to organize workshops and training courses for Yemeni students in the master’s and doctoral programs at the Council’s training, research, and studies center, and to prepare studies needed by Yemen in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, economics, industry, and investment, as well as the possibility of benefiting from the technical committee formed by the Council’s General Secretariat responsible for preparing these studies.
