On Wednesday, in the interim capital Aden, the Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Ardah, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Yemen, Mustafa Polat, ways to enhance cooperation on issues of common interest between the two countries in the judicial field.

Minister Al-Ardah praised Turkey’s stance and its supportive efforts for the government and humanitarian and relief work, looking forward to completing the ratification procedures for the judicial cooperation agreement in civil, commercial, and criminal matters according to Resolution No. 5 of 2014, which our country has ratified.

The Justice Minister emphasized the need to activate the agreement signed with the Turkish Justice Academy for the training and qualification of Yemeni judges and prosecution members. He highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries and benefiting from the Turkish experience in providing judicial services and enhancing knowledge for judicial cadres.

In turn, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to offer assistance to overcome the challenges that Yemen is facing and to support the judicial authority.
