Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Sultan Al-Arada, chaired a meeting on Thursday with leadership figures from the Ministry of Interior to discuss the performance of several service sectors within the ministry and ways to improve its services in the liberated governorates.
During the meeting, which included Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Mohammed Salem Aboud, Undersecretary for the Civil Services Sector Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amiri, Undersecretary for the Civil Status and Civil Registration Major General Dr. Mohammed Baharoon, Marib Governorate Police Director Major General Yahya Humaid, members of the ministerial committee, and directors of branches and offices of various relevant authorities, Al-Arada listened to the results of their field visits and brief reports on the workflow in several service sectors, their performance level, and their discipline in providing services to citizens in Marib and all liberated governorates. The reports also included statistics on the total services provided by each sector since the beginning of this year.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior’s leadership and their diligent endeavors to improve work, develop performance, enhance the efficiency of the ministry’s cadres, and improve the quality of services across various sectors, including the adoption of the latest systems and modern technologies in its civil services, notably the smart electronic card service.
He emphasized the need to double these significant efforts and increase coordination levels among all sectors of the ministry and its branches in the governorates to evaluate the achievement rates, work on enhancing them, identify areas of deficiency and discrepancies, work on addressing them, and overcome all difficulties and challenges within the available capabilities.
