The meeting addressed the banking services provided by the U.S. Federal Reserve to the Central Bank of Yemen and assistance in building the capacities of its staff in various roles to enable them to perform their duties with high professionalism and serve the Yemeni banking system.
In another meeting, the Governor of the Central Bank discussed with the U.S. Treasury team cooperation in the areas of combating money laundering and terrorism financing, upgrading banking sector operations, and enhancing the Central Bank’s capabilities in supervision and oversight of banks.
