The Prime Minister reviewed the nature of the current challenges resulting from the ongoing economic war waged by the Houthi terrorist militia, foremost of which is the targeting of crude oil export facilities and targeting international navigation and commercial ships, and the additional burdens and exacerbation of human suffering for the Yemeni people that it has caused. He pointed to the government’s vision and efforts to deal with these challenges and the required international support, in a way that reflects on achieving economic stability and the exchange rate of the national currency, anti-corruption efforts, capacity building, and the available opportunities to establish sustainable development partnerships with brotherly and friendly countries.

The members of the international delegation spoke about the nature and objectives of the visit, and the new visions that can be built upon to create partnerships with the Yemeni government and support its efforts in priority areas. They expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts and what it is doing under these exceptional circumstances to deal with the existing challenges.
