On Thursday, May 9, 2024, President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received the Bahraini Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdul-Latif Al-Zayani, and his accompanying delegation at the Ma’ashiq Palace in Aden.
The meeting, which was attended by Presidential Leadership Council members Aidarus Al-Zubaidi and Abdul Rahman Al-Mahrami, Director of the Office of the Presidency Dr. Yahya Al-Shu’aibi, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Shai’ Muhsin Al-Zindani, discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between Yemen and Bahrain and ways to strengthen them in various fields.
President Al-Alimi praised the significant political support provided by the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain to Yemen and its legitimate leadership, within the framework of the Alliance in Support of Legitimacy in various regional and international forums.
According to the official website of President Al-Alimi, the meeting touched on the latest developments in Yemen, the joint positions of the two brotherly countries towards the developments in the region, and the challenges facing international peace and security. President Al-Alimi stressed the importance of reaching a comprehensive political solution to the conflict in Yemen, ensuring an end to the suffering of the Yemeni people and achieving peace and stability.
President Al-Alimi commended the efforts exerted by the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, its King, Government, and people, to ensure the success of the 33rd Arab Summit, in the interest of the nation and to enhance its collective role in facing all challenges. The meeting between President Al-Alimi and the Bahraini Foreign Minister is a testament to the depth of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and their shared commitment to supporting peace and stability in the region.
