On Wednesday, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib, Major General Sultan Al-Arada, chaired an extensive meeting that included Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, several ministers, and leaders of the local authority and executive offices in Marib Governorate.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the military, security, humanitarian, developmental, and service situations in Marib Governorate, as well as mechanisms for achieving full integration and coordination between different state apparatuses at the central and local levels to overcome existing challenges.
It also explored necessary measures and procedures affecting the livelihood and lives of citizens, including health, education, humanitarian, and administrative aspects, encouraging investments in partnership with the private sector, in addition to the conditions on the battlefronts, the circumstances of those on guard, and efforts to enhance security and stability.
The meeting reviewed the most urgent essential needs for Marib Governorate to face challenges and respond to the growing needs of the governorate’s residents, which have exceeded three million people due to accommodating more than 62 percent of the displaced in the Republic and 76 percent of the displaced in the liberated governorates.
