On Monday, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, discussed with Algerian Foreign Minister and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, the latest developments in Yemen, as well as events unfolding in Palestine and the region.
During the meeting, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the two ministers also explored ways to develop bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and coordinate positions on issues of mutual interest.
Minister Al-Zindani praised the level of relations between the two countries… appreciating Algeria’s role, as an Arab member of the Security Council, in supporting just causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue.
For his part, the Algerian Foreign Minister renewed his country’s support for the Yemeni government and people… emphasizing Algeria’s support for resolving the Yemeni crisis through dialogue and doing everything possible to end the crisis and achieve peace in Yemen.
