Yemen’s ambassador to Cuba, Mohammed Saleh Nasher, discussed on Friday with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Armando Vergara Bueno, ways to enhance and develop cooperative relations between the two friendly countries, along with several issues of common interest.
During the meeting, Ambassador Nasher briefed the Cuban official on the latest developments and situations in our country, and the intransigence of the Houthi terrorist militias in stopping the war and achieving comprehensive and lasting peace.
For his part, the Cuban official reaffirmed his country’s steadfast and supportive stance towards the Yemeni government, backing all efforts leading to the cessation of war and achieving permanent peace in Yemen.
