Ambassador Mohammed Saleh Tariq attended the Innovation and Creativity Forum organized by the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday. The forum was attended by Dr. Mazen Al-Jafri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Cultural Relations and Missions, and several members of the Parliament and Shura Council, in addition to members of the Yemeni community and Yemeni students studying at Turkish universities.
Representing the Turkish side were Mr. Mohammed Siddiq Yildirim, Advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ali Erdogan, Deputy Mayor of Bagcilar, and representatives of charitable organizations from the State of Kuwait, represented by the International Islamic Charity Organization.
In his speech during the forum, Ambassador Tariq praised the youth and students and congratulated the innovators on their achievements in the scientific field. He pointed out that Yemen is currently experiencing a multitude of tragedies, stressing that the youth are the hope for overcoming difficulties, defeating the Houthi militia and their falsehoods, and building the nation.
The Ambassador expressed his pride and appreciation for participating in the creative forum organized by the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association, expressing his hope that the forum would give students hope for a brighter future.
He also highlighted the role of students as ambassadors for Yemen in Turkey, which has provided many facilities for Yemeni students in public and private universities and facilitated the establishment of forums and creative events. The Ambassador thanked the supporters from the State of Kuwait, the main supporter, and Turkey, both government and people, for the facilities they provided to ensure the success of this forum, which we hope will be a tributary to sustainable development in Yemen.
