Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daeri discussed, on Sunday, with the British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, and the French Ambassador to Yemen, Catherine Corm-Kammoun, separately, the enhancement of security and military cooperation, as well as ways to combat terrorism and ensure maritime security.
The Defense Minister touched on the latest developments on the Yemeni scene in light of the continued attacks by the Houthi terrorist militias on commercial ships and maritime navigation. He pointed out that supporting the capabilities of the armed forces is the optimal solution to secure global trade routes in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Aden, and to eliminate the danger lurking for everyone, represented by the Houthi terrorist militias.
