On Wednesday, Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari met with Sarhad Fattah, the Deputy Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, and his accompanying delegation in the capital, Aden.
The meeting discussed the latest developments on the Yemeni scene, the continued attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on commercial ships and international navigation routes in light of regional situation developments.
The discussion also touched upon the issue of abducted and detained individuals and their suffering in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia. Here, Lieutenant General Al-Daari reaffirmed the government’s stance on the ‘all for all’ release policy, which the Houthi militia persistently obstructs.
The Defense Minister also highlighted the government’s position and its positive engagement with regional and international efforts to achieve peace, at a time when the terrorist Houthi militia continues to violate all agreements and covenants before the ink has even dried, following the Iranian regime’s approach of dissimulation and treaty violation.
