Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, affirmed the role that Yemeni communities abroad must play in light of the difficult circumstances our country has been experiencing since the Houthi coup until today. He stressed the importance of presenting a bright image of Yemeni society and its cultural and civilizational heritage in the face of the sectarian coup project.
This came during his meeting on Thursday at the headquarters of the Yemeni Embassy in Cairo with the administration of the community and a number of dignitaries and businessmen, in the presence of Yemen’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Khaled Bahah.
The Foreign Minister pointed out the importance of the visit, during which the strategic dialogue between the two countries was resumed after a long hiatus due to the circumstances our country experienced during the past period. He highlighted the importance of this dialogue in strengthening bilateral relations and areas of cooperation, reflecting the well-established historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
Minister Al-Zindani reviewed the latest developments in the political and economic scene in our country, and the efforts made towards normalizing the situation and restoring security and stability, despite the challenges that are still imposed by the Houthi militia’s rebellion and its submission to foreign agendas.
The Foreign Minister also listened to the issues and topics of concern to them and ways to address them. He praised the role of the embassy and its efforts in supporting the administration, providing services, and resolving all problems and obstacles facing the community in cooperation with the authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
