On Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, met at the ministry’s headquarters in the interim capital Aden with the EU Ambassador Gabriel Munuera Viñals, and the ambassadors of France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, and Romania to Yemen.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between Yemen and EU countries, and ways to enhance and develop them to serve mutual interests and aspirations, as well as reviewed the developments in our country and the region, and the efforts made to de-escalate and achieve peace in Yemen.
Al-Zindani also discussed with the ambassadors bilateral and multilateral cooperation relations, ways to increase support provided to the Yemeni government in various fields, and discussed the main challenges facing the government. He emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation with all friends to work on alleviating human suffering and establishing peace in Yemen, appreciating the efforts of the European Union in this regard.
This significant visit by the EU ambassadors comes amidst ongoing diplomatic activities and the activation of the role and status of institutions in the interim capital Aden.
