On Tuesday, the Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajash, met with the Turkish Ambassador to Yemen, Mustafa Polat.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, ways to enhance them, and coordination of positions regarding issues of common interest.
Undersecretary Bajash appreciated Turkey’s steadfast position towards Yemen and its legitimate leadership, as well as its support for peace process efforts, and the assistance and contributions provided by the Turkish government in various developmental and service fields.
On his part, the Turkish Ambassador affirmed his country’s support for the Yemeni government, and for everything that ensures the security and stability of Yemen and achieves the aspirations of the Yemeni people, in addition to supporting the UN efforts aimed at finding a comprehensive political solution to end the Yemeni crisis.
