His Excellency Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, along with council member Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Majli, held a meeting with the Security Committee in Taiz Governorate. The meeting was attended by the Advisor to the Chairman of the Leadership Council for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, and the Governor of the Governorate Nabil Shamsan, who also chairs the committee.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and council members received a briefing from the Governor of Taiz, along with military and security leaders, about the situation in the governorate and the approved plans to develop the performance of security apparatuses and the required support to enhance their role in protecting public tranquility and enforcing the rule of law.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council noted the efforts and great sacrifices of the sons of the armed and security forces in Taiz in confronting the attacks by the Houthi militias, who are agents of the Iranian regime, and in pursuing and arresting their cells and elements of terrorist organizations allied with them.
