The news monitoring covered the current events on the Yemeni arena for the period (10 August – 16 August) in the international, Arab and local media. The media witnessed great coverage of various events, especially in the political, humanitarian, and military sides.
The media coverage of the international, Arab and local media of the Yemeni issue will be highlighted by explaining the complete frames that have been addressed and providing the numbers and statistical data for what has been monitored.

News monitoring for international media was carried out during the period (10 August – 16 August). The monitoring covered 47 media outlets and 112 news articles, as shown in Table (1).

The international media covered the Yemeni issue in a large way this week, with great emphasis on the political and humanitarian aspects, and the military aspect in particular. The number of articles that were monitored in the international media reached 112 news articles. Where the political side received 24 news articles, 21%. The humanitarian side received 20 news articles, 18%. The military side was covered with 52 articles, a rate of 46%. Then the rest of the frames come as shown in the table below.

The Arab media covered the Yemeni issue extensively this week. The number of articles that were monitored during this week reached 130 news articles. Where the political side received 23 articles, at a rate of 18%. The humanitarian framework received 32 articles, or 25%. As for the military framework, it received 32 articles, or 25%. The local media covered the events on the Yemeni arena, and 228 articles were monitored in various aspects during the period (10 August – 16 August), the political side monitored 51 articles, with a percentage of 22%. As for the military side, it received less media attention than the political side. 51 articles were monitored on the military side with a percentage of 22%. Media Analysis
International, Arab, and local media covered the Yemeni file in all its political, humanitarian, military, economic, etc. aspects. The political media covered the Yemeni Ansarullah group (Houthis) announcing the members of a new government, consisting of 22 ministers headed by Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, replacing Abdulaziz bin Habtoor. The US Treasury Department announced on Thursday the imposition of sanctions against trade networks belonging to the Yemeni Ansar Allah group. As for the humanitarian aspect, it witnessed widespread coverage due to the worsening humanitarian crisis, as the Famine Early Warning Systems Network estimated that Yemen will remain at the top of the list of countries most in need of humanitarian aid until February 2025, in light of food insecurity. The military aspect also witnessed broader media coverage than in previous weeks, as the military media covered the leader of the Ansar Allah group, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announcing on Thursday that they had carried out operations with 15 missiles and a drone against ships linked to the United States and Israel during the past week.
