News monitoring for international media was carried out during the period (1 June – 7 June). The monitoring covered 74 media outlets and 170 news articles, as shown in Table (1).

The international media covered the Yemeni issue in a large way this week, with great emphasis on the political and humanitarian aspects, and the military aspect in particular. The number of articles that were monitored in the international media reached 170 news articles. Where the political side received 29 news articles, 17%. The humanitarian side received 8 news articles, 5%. The military side was covered with 117 articles, a rate of 69%. Then the rest of the frames come as shown in the table below.

The Arab media covered the Yemeni issue extensively this week. The number of articles that were monitored during this week reached 150 news articles. Where the political side received 18 articles, at a rate of 12%. The humanitarian framework received 22 articles, or 15%. As for the military framework, it received 62 articles, or 41%. As for the military side, it received less media attention than the political side. 81 articles were monitored on the military side with a percentage of 35%. Media Analysis

International, Arab, and local media covered the Yemeni file in all its political, humanitarian, military, economic, etc. aspects. The political media covered the Ansar Allah group vowing to confront the “escalation with escalation” after American -British strikes that took the lives of dozens. As for the humanitarian aspect, it witnessed widespread coverage due to the worsening humanitarian crisis, as a court run by Yemen’s “Ansar Allah” group sentenced 44 people to death, including a businessman working with aid groups, on “spying charges”, a defense lawyer said. The military aspect also witnessed broader media coverage than in previous weeks, as the military media covered, Yemen’s “Ansar Allah” group announcing that they had targeted the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” and a US destroyer in the Red Sea, in addition to other ships. The Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group announced an attack on Israel with a new missile that the group has unveiled for the first time, which it has named “Palestine”.
