The news monitoring covered the current events on the Yemeni arena for the period (31 August – 6 September) in the international, Arab and local media. The media witnessed great coverage of various events, especially in the political, humanitarian, and military sides.
The media coverage of the international, Arab and local media of the Yemeni issue will be highlighted by explaining the complete frames that have been addressed and providing the numbers and statistical data for what has been monitored.

News monitoring for international media was carried out during the period (31 August – 6 September). The monitoring covered 48 media outlets and 129 news articles, as shown in Table (1).

The international media covered the Yemeni issue in a large way this week, with great emphasis on the political and humanitarian aspects, and the military aspect in particular. The number of articles that were monitored in the international media reached 129 news articles. Where the political side received 26 news articles, 20%. The humanitarian side received 31 news articles, 24%. The military side was covered with 50 articles, a rate of 39%. Then the rest of the frames come as shown in the table below.

News monitoring for Arab media was carried out during the period (31 August – 6 September). The monitoring covered 46 media outlets and 132 news articles, as shown in Table (3).

The Arab media covered the Yemeni issue extensively this week. The number of articles that were monitored during this week reached 132 news articles. Where the political side received 19 articles, at a rate of 14%. The humanitarian framework received 43 articles, or 33%. As for the military framework, it received 26 articles, or 20%. The local media covered the events on the Yemeni arena, and 207 articles were monitored in various aspects during the period (31 August – 6 September), the political side monitored 42 articles, with a percentage of 20%. As for the military side, it received less media attention than the political side. 52 articles were monitored on the military side with a percentage of 25%. Media Analysis
International, Arab, and local media covered the Yemeni file in all its political, humanitarian, military, economic, etc. aspects. The political media covered the Yemeni Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announcing that the Red Sea has become free of any American military presence, adding that Washington has suffered a harsh defeat in its naval battle. As for the humanitarian aspect, it witnessed widespread coverage due to the worsening humanitarian crisis, as a recent report issued by the Executive Unit for the Management of IDP Camps confirmed that internal displacement in Yemen experienced a decline of over 40% in the second quarter of this year compared to the first quarter. The military aspect also witnessed broader media coverage than in previous weeks, as the military media covered, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announcing last Tuesday that the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group (Houthis) attacked two crude oil tankers, “Blue Lagoon,” flying the flag of Panama and operated by Greece, and “Amjad,” owned by Saudi Arabia and flying its flag, with two ballistic missiles and a drone, resulting in damage to both tankers. However, the Saudi National Shipping Company “Al-Bahri” stated that its tanker “Amjad” was sailing in the Red Sea on Monday near another tanker that was attacked, but it was not targeted itself, and no damage or injuries were sustained. Additionally, the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group (Houthis) announced that they carried out a specialized military operation targeting the ship “Blue Lagoon” in the Red Sea, using drones and missiles.
