On Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zindani, held discussions with the Director General for the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia at the German Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Tobias Tunkel. They addressed the latest developments in the region and the efforts being made to establish peace in Yemen.
Both sides reviewed the bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, in addition to the various areas of support that Germany provides to Yemen, particularly in the humanitarian and relief sectors.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the historical relations between Yemen and Germany, appreciating Germany’s steadfast position towards the Yemeni people.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Yemen, Ambassador Hubert Jäger.
