The Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Al-Bakri, met on Wednesday in the temporary capital Aden with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy to Yemen, Shao Zheng, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of youth and sports.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Bakri praised the distinguished relations between Yemen and China, highlighting China’s continuous support for Yemen in general and for sports in particular. He stressed the Ministry’s keenness on maintaining communication and holding meetings that serve the sports field and strengthen the relationship between the Ministry and the Chinese Embassy.
For his part, the Chinese Chargé d’Affaires affirmed his full support for sports activities in Yemen and his eagerness to develop and advance them to ensure distinguished performance in international events. He also pointed out the importance of paying attention to youth and enhancing communication with them, as they are the foundation of development and progress in the country.
