His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, returned yesterday, Saturday, to the interim capital, Aden, coming back from the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he held a series of meetings and consultations with regional and international actors.

The discussions touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, developments in the region, and the support required for the government and state institutions to fulfill their service and livelihood obligations. In addition to alleviate the severity of the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by the terrorist attacks of the Houthi militias on oil facilities and international shipping lines with the support of the Iranian regime.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, Sheikh Othman Mujli, members of the Council and a number of Statesmen, had previously made an inspection visit to Hadhramaut Governorate. During which they were briefed on the conditions in the governorate, and the appreciated efforts of the local authority and national components at various levels.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), upon his arrival to the interim capital, Aden, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the importance of cohesiveness and working in the spirit of one team, especially in light of these exceptional circumstances in which the Yemeni people face unprecedented challenges, most notably the economic and financial problem. In addition to the desperate attempts by terrorist organizations and militias to destabilize security and stability in the liberated governorates.

In this context, the President renewed his great appreciation to the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their honorable fraternal positions in order to restore state institutions and keeping their cohesion, and to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people for peace, stability, and development.
