Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak has directed the enhancement of coordination between ministries and government entities with local authorities in the governorates for preparing plans and needs, in line with the urgent priorities directly affecting the life and livelihood of citizens.
The Prime Minister, in his meeting on Tuesday with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, emphasized the importance of considering integration among the governorates and leveraging the strategic advantages of each, highlighting the importance of following up on the implementation of projects initiated during the visit of His Excellency the Presidential Leadership Council President to Taiz.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak received a comprehensive briefing from the Taiz Governor regarding the situation in the governorate across various political, military, security, economic, and service aspects, and the efforts being made to address existing challenges, foremost among which are the burdens of the siege imposed on the city by the terrorist Houthi militia, and the required support from the government. He pointed out the ongoing work to implement the economic and social development plan in the governorate which includes the priorities and needs for sustainable development, improving economic and living conditions, and recovering from war damages.
The Governor of Taiz expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for finding solutions to the issue of the wounded in the governorate and addressing the promotion conditions for army and security personnel.
