Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak has directed the identification of stalled projects in the service and developmental sectors in Abyan Governorate, including presenting the reasons for their halt, along with proposals and a necessary timeline for their completion, and the priorities for execution.
During his meeting today, Sunday, with Abyan Governor Major General Abu Bakr Hussein, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to prepare a comprehensive report on these projects by the relevant ministries and entities in coordination with the local authority, and to submit it to find urgent solutions for their completion, especially those affecting the lives and livelihoods of citizens.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak was briefed by the Governor of Abyan on a comprehensive overview of the situation in the governorate across various security, military, service, and developmental aspects, the existing challenges, proposals to overcome them, and the support required from the government for urgent interventions in several high-priority issues related to the life and livelihood of the citizens.
The Prime Minister affirmed the government’s support for all efforts of the local authority to fulfill its duties towards serving the citizens, noting the government’s and the Presidential Leadership Council’s concern for improving the service and developmental conditions in Abyan Governorate, which has long been neglected.
