Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak made a phone call to the Governor of Al-Mahra, Mohammed Ali Yasser, to follow up on the precautionary measures taken and the raising of preparedness to deal with the atmospheric depression expected to affect the governorate in the coming hours.

The Prime Minister listened to a briefing from the Governor of Al-Mahra on the precautionary measures taken in anticipation of the atmospheric depression and the placement of emergency teams on alert.

The Prime Minister instructed the relevant ministries and authorities to cooperate and support the efforts of the local authority to overcome any possible repercussions of the atmospheric depression, focusing primarily on protecting citizens, opening roads, draining rainwater, and the importance of community support for these efforts. He emphasized coordination with UN and international organizations and humanitarian work partners to prepare for any potential emergency, including the provision of relief materials.
