Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak, during his meeting on Tuesday with the Governor of Al-Mahweet, Saleh Samee, was briefed on the latest developments, issues, and the situation of the governorate’s residents under the control of the Houthi terrorist militia, their repressive approach, and their ongoing violations against citizens through killing, looting, and abductions.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s support for the governors of governorates forcibly controlled by the Houthi terrorist militia, enhancing communication with their citizens, and supporting their aspirations for freedom and the restoration of state institutions. He emphasized at the same time the need to double efforts and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni citizens within the available means.
The Governor of Al-Mahweet reviewed the brutal violations endured by the governorates’ residents at the hands of the Houthi terrorist militia, their legendary resilience, and their eagerness to complete the state’s recovery and end the coup. He pointed out the damages caused by the floods that hit the governorate, especially in the Malhan district, and the Houthi militia’s looting of relief materials provided to those affected.
