On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak visited the headquarters of the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

Upon his arrival, he was received by the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al Salman, along with several leaders.

The Prime Minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Joint Forces, during which they reviewed aspects of integration, coordination, and communication between the government and the Joint Forces concerning the existential battle against the Houthi terrorist militia, and the ongoing terrorist attacks on international shipping and commercial ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak presented the government’s vision for developing the performance of military and security institutions and the reform path implemented in this regard, which would aid in building a strong army based on professional foundations and the necessary support from the Joint Forces.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the Coalition Forces leadership, and the significant sacrifices made by the brethren led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in defense of the aspirations of the Yemeni people, its legitimate leadership, alleviating its humanitarian suffering, and supporting development efforts and reconstruction in Yemen.
