On Wednesday, Yemen’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Jalal Faqirah, discussed with Jordan’s Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdulmonem Al-Oudat, ways to strengthen parliamentary relations between the two brotherly nations, as well as issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Faqirah praised the success and excellence achieved by the Jordanian experience in the parliamentary elections for the twentieth House of Representatives, considering it a model to be emulated in the electoral process and party participation in elections. He commended Jordan’s distinguished experience in empowering women and youth and involving them in the political process.

The meeting also touched on the importance of elevating the level of coordination and cooperation in parliamentary and political fields on issues that serve the interests of both countries.
