On Tuesday, Tareq Saleh, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, conducted an inspection visit to major road projects being implemented on the West Coast with support from the sister nation, the United Arab Emirates.
The projects aim to achieve comprehensive developmental progress in the region, enhance connectivity between governorates, and facilitate the movement of citizens and goods.
The visit included the Al-Makha-Muzayq – Al-Wazeiyah-Al-Kadaha road project, which stretches over 37 kilometers and consists of two lanes and a central island.
This project represents the second phase of the Al-Kadaha-Taiz road, which is expected to ease transportation between the West Coast and the city of Taiz.
Tareq Saleh expressed his admiration for the noticeable progress in the project, emphasizing the importance of adhering to technical standards and specifications to ensure the road’s quality and longevity.
Furthermore, the council member inspected the conditions of the residents in the villages adjacent to the road in Muzayq, commending their cooperation in making this vital project a success, which serves as a lifeline for them primarily.
Tareq Saleh also checked on the progress of the expansion of the main public street and the asphalt paving of the Arbaeen Street, as part of the infrastructure development plan under the city’s master plan.
