Yemen, represented by a delegation led by Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhaibeh, participated the 155th session of the World Health Organization’s Executive Office in Geneva, Switzerland.
This active presence embodies Yemen’s keenness to cooperate closely with the World Health Organization and to deepen cooperative efforts to address the country’s health concerns, especially in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is going through.
According to the official agency “Saba”, the meeting will discuss the outcomes of the recently held World Health Assembly and the reports of the various Executive Council committees, in order to take necessary action.
In a speech, Minister Buhaibeh reviewed the current health situation in Yemen, highlighting the national priorities and the urgent needs to strengthen the capabilities of the Yemeni health sector.
