Amman, Jordan – Ambassador Dr. Jalal Ibrahim Faqira, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, received on Monday, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Yemeni Embassy in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

At the outset of the meeting, the Yemeni Ambassador congratulated his Bahraini counterpart on assuming his duties as ambassador to Jordan, praising the distinguished fraternal relations that bind the two brotherly countries and peoples, and stressing the importance of strengthening joint coordination on various issues of common concern.

Ambassador Faqira reviewed the latest developments in the Yemeni political scene, and the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council, led by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, to achieve security and stability and build peace in Yemen.

The meeting also touched on discussing the latest developments on the regional arena, and the need for concerted efforts to stop the war on the Palestinian people in Gaza.

For his part, the Bahraini Ambassador expressed his pride in the distinguished fraternal relations that unite the two brotherly countries, affirming his country’s supportive position for the Presidential Leadership Council, led by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, and support for all regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security, stability, and building comprehensive peace in Yemen.
